Will Swinton Drops Haunting New Single “Hold You Again”
Rising star Will Swinton shares “Hold You Again,” a brooding folk-rock anthem from his December EP, out Dec. 13.
New Zealand singer-songwriter Will Swinton returns with his gripping single “Hold You Again,” out now via 10K Projects/Capitol Records. Combining moody folk rock with cinematic Western grit, the track offers a raw and emotional glimpse into Swinton’s forthcoming EP, December, set for release on December 13.
Driven by strumming guitars, pounding drums, and poignant lyrics, “Hold You Again” explores themes of heartbreak and redemption. Swinton’s striking lyricism stands out: “Maybe it’s what I deserve, for all the lies and all the hurt, but I still gotta try / ’Cause right now more than ever, I just wanna be forever in your eyes.
Accompanying the release is a live-recorded video directed by Brandon Chen, which captures the song’s isolation and intensity. This minimalist visual follows Swinton’s earlier singles “Where I Belong” and “Walls,” the latter earning recognition from Rolling Stone and ET.
Swinton’s track record includes “Flames,” which reached #9 on the Hot 20 NZ singles chart. With “Hold You Again,” he continues to carve out a unique space in the music world with his evocative storytelling and sound.
