RayRay & Haus of Panda release “Afterlife,” a high-BPM tribute to grief, growth, and joy via Dim Mak.

RayRay and Haus of Panda take an unexpected and emotionally rich turn on their new collaboration “Afterlife,” released on Dim Mak. Fusing high-BPM Speed House with personal storytelling, the track creates a vibrant contrast between heartbreak and celebration.

Driven by frenetic drops, stabbing bass, and soaring vocal chops, “Afterlife” could easily be mistaken for a straight festival banger—until you listen closer. “I originally wrote this song in memory of my cousin, who passed away from cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic,” RayRay reveals. “The grief… was overwhelming, and this song became my way of processing those emotions.”

The decision to channel sorrow through Speed House speaks to RayRay’s creative instinct: “While the lyrics carry a sense of sorrow and longing, I chose to express that pain through energy… turning heartbreak into something uplifting.”

Haus of Panda, a leader in the Speed House movement, brought his own story to the project. “I was going through hardships in my personal relationship when RayRay sent me the track,” he shares. “I truly feel that ‘Afterlife’ has the potential to become a festival anthem that many will enjoy this year.”

What “Afterlife” achieves is a rare alchemy: a track that can command a massive crowd while holding a deeply personal message at its core. Both artists elevate the emotional impact without compromising the genre’s intensity, crafting a song that’s both a memorial and a celebration.
