Naomi Sharon Announces New EP “The Only Love We Know,” Out May 9 via OVO Sound

Naomi Sharon’s new EP “The Only Love We Know” explores self-love and growth. Out May 9 on OVO Sound.
Naomi Sharon invites listeners into a refined, deeply personal chapter with her upcoming EP The Only Love We Know, releasing May 9 through OVO Sound. Alongside the announcement, the Rotterdam-based artist shares the title track—a soulful introduction to a project that marks her evolution in sound and mindset.
Known for her emotionally rich songwriting, Sharon steps into a more introspective realm on this EP, executive produced by Jordan Ullman of Majid Jordan. The collection shifts from romantic longing to embracing self-love and life’s unpredictability.
“This EP is more about finding happiness within yourself and embracing the positive things in life,” she explains. “If something does not work out, that is okay too.”
Sharon credits her father’s deep house collection and Buddha-Bar compilations as early sonic influences. “That aesthetic and vibe have now been translated into this EP,” she notes, “a style that feels both relaxed and sophisticated.”
Born and raised in The Netherlands with Caribbean heritage, Sharon continues to push the boundaries of R&B and soul. As the first female artist signed to OVO Sound, she’s worked with Noah “40” Shebib, Alex Lustig, Beau Nox, and more. In 2024, she was named one of Spotify’s R&B Rising Artists To Watch.
With The Only Love We Know, Naomi Sharon deepens her artistic expression, offering a collection shaped by grace, growth, and self-discovery.
