Selena Gomez & benny blanco Premiere Personal Vevo Short Film “I Said I Love You First”

Vevo’s film captures stripped-down performances & authentic moments between the two artists.
Selena Gomez and benny blanco release “I Said I Love You First”, a new Vevo Extended Play short film out now via SMG Music/Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope Records. The visual features intimate, in-home performances of “Sunset Blvd,” “Scared of Loving You,” and “How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten.”
Filmed in their shared home in Los Angeles—the very place where the songs were written—the project captures the essence of their collaboration. With minimal staging, the live renditions are emotionally raw and sonically rich.
During a heartfelt kitchen interview, the couple discusses their connection. “We speak the same language,” benny says. “You’re really good at making sure that it sounds authentic,” Selena adds.
Vevo’s JP Evangelista explains: “You can really feel the love and support between these two icons exude through the screen.”
The short film is a rare invitation into the life and process of two creative forces whose relationship continues to inspire both fans and each other.
