Tiera Kennedy releases “Somebody Like You,” her latest track inspired by the power of supportive connection.

Tiera Kennedy, one of music’s most genre-fluid rising voices, has released her latest single, “Somebody Like You,” a moving tribute to the people who anchor us during life’s hardest moments.

Written by Kennedy, Cameron Bedell, and Jared Scott, the track is a reminder to slow down and appreciate the ones who help you stay true to yourself.

“We all need somebody—someone who sees you, holds space for you, and helps you get through the hard stuff. Somebody who keeps the light on for you when you’re finding your way back home,” says Kennedy.

The Kamren Kennedy-directed music video, set in a Tennessee field, underscores the song’s heartfelt message with powerful, natural visuals.

Following a headline show at Nashville’s Basement East, Kennedy earned her first BET Award nomination for her work on “Blackbiird” with Beyoncé and other rising stars.

She also hosted Ms. Tina Knowles on her Apple Music Radio show The Tiera Show, discussing her best-selling book MATRIARCH and reflecting on the resilience of motherhood.

Earlier this year, Kennedy’s cover of Beyoncé’s “1+1” was released to streaming platforms following fan demand. She toured with The War & Treaty, made her debut at Stagecoach, and is set to perform at CMA Fest and Vineyard Jam.

As her sound continues to evolve, Tiera Kennedy proves she’s a voice for now—and what’s next.
