KARABA Debuts “Surfacing” from Forthcoming “Tides” EP, Out June 13

“Surfacing” is the final single from KARABA’s “Tides” EP, capturing a moment of sonic rebirth and calm.
French-Congolese producer and DJ KARABA has released her latest single “Surfacing,” the third and final release from her upcoming EP Tides arriving June 13 via ONErpm.
Infused with textured ocean samples, Afro house percussion, and chant-like vocal motifs, “Surfacing” captures the culmination of a sonic journey that spans identity, energy, and emergence.
“‘Surfacing’ is the final single of my EP, where everything comes together,” shares KARABA. “After the tension and high energy of the journey, it feels like a moment of rebirth and arrival—floating above the water, chanting, and embracing the calm after the storm.”
Tides marks KARABA’s most personal and immersive project yet. A former professional dancer who has performed with Selena Gomez, Chris Brown, and more, her musical instincts are rooted in movement, culture, and global perspective.
She gained national recognition in 2024 with a Juno Award nomination for her breakout hit “Mad Mess” and further momentum through DSP features like Spotify’s Fresh Finds Canada.
With live dates scheduled at Lightning in a Bottle and AFRODOM Festival, KARABA continues to ascend as a defining force in the Afro house world.
“Surfacing” is streaming now on all platforms. Tides drops June 13.
