Sebastian Schub Releases “Be Still” Ahead of Debut EP “Sing Like Madonna”

Sebastian Schub has shared his latest track “Be Still,” a moving single from his upcoming debut EP Sing Like Madonna, set for release on June 6 via Island EMI / Capitol Records.
With a rich baritone and emotional songwriting, “Be Still” highlights Schub’s gift for translating life experiences into tender musical moments. It follows his debut single “Sing Like Madonna,” which introduced Schub’s voice to the world.
Raised in Hamburg, now based in London, Schub’s eclectic journey has included training in opera, a stint as a busker, and a newfound viral success on TikTok. His sound blends tradition and modernity, reflecting his influences from artists like Glen Hansard.
“English isn’t really my language… I read Jane Eyre four times—just to get it,” Schub says of his path to lyrical confidence.
Schub’s EP was shaped alongside collaborators Steve Fitzmaurice, Rob Kirwan, and Dann Hume, with whom he found creative alignment.
With a sold-out UK tour completed, Schub will head to the US in June for shows in New York and Los Angeles, before supporting Noah Kahan at BST Hyde Park in London.
“Be Still” is available now across all streaming platforms. Sing Like Madonna follows on June 6.
