i-dle begin their redefined chapter with “[We are]”, a genre-breaking mini-album led by “Good Thing.”

Global K-pop juggernauts i-dle, formerly known as (G)I-DLE, have released [We are]—a six-track mini-album that marks a fearless new phase in their journey. The release follows a name change that symbolizes the group’s commitment to limitless creative and personal identity.

Led by the electrifying focus track “Good Thing,” [We are] is i-dle’s declaration of independence. The removal of “G” and parentheses in their name is a subtle yet powerful shift, challenging conventions and affirming their refusal to be boxed in by gender or format.

With over 6.8 million Spotify listeners and an expansive fanbase known as “Neverland,” i-dle’s reach is undeniable. The quintet—MINNIE, MIYEON, SHUHUA, SOYEON, and YUQI—continue to be self-made powerhouses, writing and producing their own music from day one.

Their accolades include Golden Disc Awards, Melon Music Awards, and a historic million-plus debut for their sophomore album 2. Their world tour saw sold-out shows across Asia, the U.S., and Australia, proving their global appeal.

[We are] reinforces i-dle’s position not just as performers but as visionaries. As Refinery29 noted, their music stands apart because “they make their own.” In 2025, they step forward—limitless, empowered, and ready for the next evolution of K-pop.
