SE SO NEON Channels Nature and Nostalgia in Upcoming Album “NOW” + Single “Remember!”

SE SO NEON release “Remember!” with video and announce album “NOW”, out August 15.
SE SO NEON, fronted by multitalented producer and musician Soyoon Hwang, is back with a striking new single, “Remember!”, and the announcement of their highly anticipated album <NOW>, releasing August 15. Bridging elements of blues, synth-pop, new wave, and psychedelic rock, the band continues to defy easy categorization while delivering deeply resonant storytelling.
“Remember!”—co-produced with Jon Nellen and mixed by Nathan Boddy—unfolds as an emotionally layered song, rich with shifts in tone and production. Accompanying the single is a self-directed music video by Soyoon, filmed in Seoul and capturing the personal themes of the track with poignant visuals.
“Sadly, there are times when I come to understand myself through the death of others… The way of remembering him is to hold onto this,” Soyoon says, referencing the track’s inspiration from the passing of Ryuichi Sakamoto.
<NOW> was shaped during a period of uncertainty that followed her solo release Episode1: Love. Relocating temporarily to New York for studio sessions offered Soyoon clarity and a renewed sense of purpose. “That’s why the album title is <NOW>,” she reveals. “I felt hope.”
Soyoon’s love for the natural world also plays a crucial role in the new material. “<NOW> is about nature, because I’m from nature,” she notes. With expressive guitar work and genre-defying arrangements, <NOW> is set to be both timely and timeless.
The band will embark on a North American tour this fall, visiting major cities and connecting with fans across the continent through their immersive live performances.
