CHINCHILLA Channels Vulnerability in “Avoidance” Video and Gears Up for Tour

CHINCHILLA releases stirring video for “Avoidance” and confirms upcoming tour dates across Europe.
London breakout artist CHINCHILLA shares her most vulnerable project yet with the music video for “Avoidance,” the first of a trilogy to release this summer. Directed by Claryn Chong and styled by the renowned Keko Hainswheeler and Holly Wood, the video portrays emotional descent with elegance and symbolism.
The single, written in a moment of intense emotion following a personal text message, was completed in just 45 minutes. Its emotional weight is mirrored visually in the clip, which begins in a cab and spirals into an abstract metaphor for anxiety and heartbreak.
CHINCHILLA shares: “‘Avoidance’ was written when I was going through a really rough break up… a perfect metaphor for that stomach drop anxiety attack feeling.”
Following sold-out shows and performances with Justin Timberlake, CHINCHILLA now prepares to headline her own European tour, with dates now announced. She will also support G Flip on their U.S. tour in 2025.
