Amber Mark’s “Sink In” Sets the Mood for Her Next EP
Amber Mark’s single “Sink In” combines jazz, Jersey club, and moody lyrics, setting the stage for her upcoming EP.
Amber Mark introduces “Sink In,” her newest single that blends jazz, Jersey club, and sultry energy in a seamless fusion. The song, which marks the beginning of her upcoming EP under PMR / Interscope Records, was written, produced, and performed entirely by Mark, giving it a deeply personal touch.
The track starts with a looping piano melody and subtle percussion as Mark’s vocals enter, creating a mood with lines like “I’ve had enough of parking lots and innocence.” She continues to build tension with the lyrics, adding an unexpected knock sound during the line “You could come knock on my door,” which gives listeners an immersive experience.
Mark has also shared the creative process with fans on social media, showing an Instagram clip of her recording session with her cat Moosh, who makes a cameo in the track with a purr. She describes the EP as “loose, sweaty, and a little dance-floor,” created at home with friends as a surprise gift for fans.
Following “Won’t Cry” and “Space & Time,” “Sink In” captures the essence of Mark’s unique style, giving fans a taste of her next musical chapter.
