Cassyette’s new deluxe album features “Phantom Limb” and kicks off her club night Degenerette. Out now.

Alt-pop force Cassyette has officially released the deluxe version of her debut album, This World Still F***ing Sucks, via 23 Recordings. The expanded album includes four new tracks, led by the poignant new single “Phantom Limb.”

On the song, she shares: “Phantom limb syndrome is a chronic condition… Phantom limb is about what it’s like to leave someone toxic that never loved you back… I felt like I had to relearn my entire existence. This World Still F***ing Sucks is very much that chapter of my life.”

Also featured are a cover of “Disease,” endorsed by Lady Gaga, an acoustic version of “When She Told Me,” and an extended “Sex Metal,” echoing the energy of her new club night Degenerette—a queer/goth space launched April 19 at Brighton’s Club Revenge.

Created with collaborators Tylr Rydr, Olly Burden, and Olivia Sebastianelli, the album received praise from NME and Kerrang! for its fearless blend of styles and themes. Tracks like “Friends In Low Places” and “Say My Name” continue Cassyette’s exploration of identity, emotion, and resistance.
