Dean Lewis unveils “The Epilogue (Deluxe)” with 5 new tracks including “I Hate That It’s True,” out July 11.

Global hitmaker Dean Lewis has revealed the deluxe edition of his acclaimed album The Epilogue, set to arrive Friday, July 11. Titled The Epilogue (Deluxe), the expanded version includes five new songs, led by the release of “I Hate That It’s True,” a track that showcases Lewis’ continued growth as a songwriter.

Dean shared the story behind the track’s quick release:

“Usually when I write a song it takes about a year before it can come out. I wrote ‘I Hate That It’s True’ about 10 weeks ago at an Airbnb in Bondi Beach. The day I wrote it we spent 48 hours finishing the production, rushing it over to my team and adding it onto my deluxe album. For me the song is a hint at what is to come on my next album; in the sense of where I’m headed with my songwriting and the more acoustic raw production.”

The deluxe also includes his breakout track “With You,” with over 62 million streams, 260K TikTok videos, and 11 million OMV views. The song has charted on Hot Hits Australia, Apple’s Today’s Hits, and received airplay on MTV. It reached #22 on AU Radio, #16 on Shazam AU, and ranked in the Top 50 Global Shazam.

A duet version with Sofia Camara, featured on MAFS Australia, has added another wave of attention to the track. Also on the deluxe: Dean’s cover of Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris,” offering fans a mix of emotional originals and nostalgic covers.

The Epilogue (Deluxe) will be released on digital platforms and limited 2LP vinyl, giving longtime listeners and new fans a deeper look at Lewis’ artistry.
