Elton John & Brandi Carlile release Swing For The Fences, a powerful anthem from their collaborative album Who Believes In Angels?, out April 4.

Elton John and Brandi Carlile have released Swing For The Fences, a song that blends euphoric rock with an empowering message. Accompanied by a stunning music video directed by Xavier Dolan, the track serves as a rallying cry for self-expression and authenticity.

The video, choreographed by Damien Jalet, follows dancer William Darby as he moves through a deeply personal journey of liberation. His uninhibited solo dance eventually transitions into a duet with Abdalla Amour, symbolizing love, connection, and freedom.

Dolan shares his thoughts on the visual: “This video is about reclaiming power. Music and dance have long been safe spaces for queer people, and this story is a testament to why we must continue to celebrate our identities.”

Carlile reflects on the track’s meaning: “Elton and I wanted to write a song that tells young LGBTQ+ kids—dream big, live boldly, and never hold back. Swing for the fences, no matter what anyone says.”
