Esha Tewari shares final wraith single “waltz” before May 1 release and global tour with multiple sellouts.

Breakout indie-folk talent Esha Tewari unveils the last preview from her upcoming EP wraith—the touching new track “waltz,” released yesterday ahead of the full project dropping on Thursday, May 1. The song completes a lineup of emotionally driven singles, including “million times,” “empty pages,” “things i want,” and “you were mine.”

In her own words, Esha reflects on the meaning behind “waltz”:

“this is the final track of my EP, i wanted to make a little closing statement sort of that leads into my next project. it goes through little parts of nostalgia and growing up, it’s a really special song to me. and maybe might want to make you waltz”.

“waltz” continues the soft, acoustic aesthetic that’s become central to Esha’s style, while lyrically touching on themes of memory, transformation, and quiet closure.

The new single coincides with the start of her Australian tour, which kicked off over the weekend with a sold-out Sydney show. Esha will play to sold-out crowds in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth, with a handful of tickets still available in Adelaide.

Her North American “wraith tour” follows this summer, beginning in San Francisco on July 3 and wrapping in Washington DC on August 9. Already, shows in LA, Houston, Toronto, and Atlanta have sold out, with demand continuing to build.

After first releasing music in February 2024, Esha gained attention with her single “beautiful boy,” originally shared on TikTok. Since then, she’s amassed 13M+ streams, 805K Spotify monthly listeners, and built a devoted following of Tewarians on social media.

With wraith, Esha Tewari offers her most cohesive and emotionally resonant work to date—and “waltz” is a fitting final step before the full story arrives.
