G Flip Channels 80s Nostalgia on “In Another Life” and Announces Album ‘Dream Ride’

“In Another Life” gives fans a glimpse of G Flip’s new album ‘Dream Ride’, arriving September 5.
Australian talent G Flip returns with “In Another Life,” the first single from their newly announced third album Dream Ride, out September 5 via AWAL Recordings.
Built around themes of late-night drives and identity, “In Another Life” blends heartfelt lyrics with shimmering 80s-style instrumentation. G Flip says: “I was sonically captivated by the 80’s… I also really wanted to make a world to accompany the music and storytelling.”
Their fictional creation, Butch Springsteen, represents an alternate version of themselves: a non-binary drumming rockstar lost in retro glamour.
“Thank you for being part of this journey,” they say. “Buckle up and join me for the Dream Ride!”
