Hannah McFarland Drops Broken Hearts EP, Delivering Soulful Country Ballads and Unfiltered Emotion

Hannah McFarland’s Broken Hearts is a moving country EP packed with heartfelt storytelling and soul-stirring ballads.
Country music’s rising star Hannah McFarland releases her deeply personal EP Broken Hearts, available now via The Core Records/Capitol Records. Featuring soulful ballads and rich, heartfelt storytelling, the EP captures themes of resilience, love, and healing.
Produced by Will Bundy (Keith Urban, Kameron Marlowe), Broken Hearts showcases McFarland’s ability to channel deep emotions through her warm, expressive vocals and evocative lyricism. The project is anchored by the lead single “Whiskey Into Water”, an emotional ballad about watching a loved one succumb to addiction and realizing that sometimes, prayer is the only solution.
“This song came from a personal place,” McFarland shares. “I wanted to capture that feeling of helplessness when you love someone who’s on a self-destructive path.”
The EP also includes “Hey Highway,” a nostalgic, radio-supported track that introduced McFarland’s major-label debut, and “The Bed I Made,” a viral hit that helped her secure publishing and record deals.
McFarland is set to bring Broken Hearts to fans on tour, joining Dylan Marlowe and Conner Smith this spring, along with performances at major country festivals like Country Jam and Boots and Hearts.
With Broken Hearts, Hannah McFarland continues to establish herself as an artist to watch, blending traditional country storytelling with modern, emotionally resonant themes.
