Jackie Hollander returns with “I Look Good,” her sophomore single on Insomniac Records, featuring a dynamic vocal performance from Lizzy Land. The track fuses thumping basslines, shimmering synths, and pulsing techno elements, delivering a confident club anthem.
Discussing the inspiration behind the song, Hollander explains:
“I wanted to make a follow-up song to my last big release, ‘All My Friends Are Hot.’ I wanted this song to be about feeling confident in yourself and knowing you look good. This is a song really about self-confidence.”
She also highlights the seamless creative process:
“I made a beat I was obsessed with and knew going into the session it would be a special song. The writer/singer had looked me up before our session and already had the lyrics she wanted to use. When I played her the beat, her lyrics went perfectly to it. It truly was magic and was so meant to be. Thus, ‘I Look Good’ was born.”
Following the success of “My Power”—which received airplay from Alison Wonderland, Zeds Dead, and Prysm Radio—Hollander continues to push boundaries with “I Look Good.”
