Jay Wheeler Premieres “Nota” Video with Omar Courtz After Live Surprise in Puerto Rico

Jay Wheeler shares the official video for “Nota,” his steamy collaboration with Omar Courtz from “Girasoles”.
Latin music mainstay Jay Wheeler delivers the long-awaited official video for his viral single “Nota,” featuring Omar Courtz. The visual release follows their surprise live performance of the track during Courtz’s sold-out concerts at Puerto Rico’s iconic Coliseo, where fans experienced “Nota” live for the first time.
Filmed in Miami and directed by FilmHeads, the video captures the sleek sensuality and magnetic chemistry that define the track. Produced by Yeziell and Botlok, “Nota” describes a no-strings connection driven by instant physical attraction and emotional freedom.
“I wanted ‘Nota’ to convey that feeling of pure attraction, without complications or compromises,” Wheeler says. “It’s a song about enjoying the moment… I loved working with Omar Courtz; we achieved a unique vibe that’s reflected in our collab.”
“Nota” is part of Girasoles, Wheeler’s eighth studio album and a deeply personal artistic rebirth. Divided into three metaphorical phases—planting, growth, and blooming—the 15-track album reflects on hardship, transformation, and maturity. The project debuted at No. 4 on Apple Music US Latin’s Top Albums chart and continues to receive praise for its emotional clarity.
With “Nota,” Jay Wheeler merges confidence with vulnerability, showcasing his ability to balance catchy rhythms with meaningful storytelling. As he continues his evolution as both artist and storyteller, “Nota” further solidifies his place among the defining voices in contemporary Latin music.
