Rising artist Josiah Queen has released his latest single, “Can’t Steal My Joy,” featuring five-time GRAMMY® Award winner Brandon Lake. Released through Capitol Records/Capitol Christian Music Group, the track carries a profound message of joy and resilience, written by Queen, Lake, Hank Bentley, and Jacob Sooter, who also produced it.
“This song came from the idea that our joy isn’t dependent on the situations we face in our lives,” says Queen. “The enemy has tried to rob me of my joy, but he can’t have something he never gave me.”
The song builds on the success of Queen’s debut album, The Prodigal, which reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart in 2024. With over 300 million global streams, including 82 million for the album’s title track, Queen has quickly become a standout in the Christian music scene.
