JT releases her fierce single “Ran Out” after City Cinderella acclaim and I-D magazine’s relaunch cover.

JT’s solo path continues with purpose in her newest single “Ran Out,” released via Quality Control Music/Motown Records. It’s a strong return that follows the critically praised City Cinderella and sets the tone for her next era.

The “Ran Out” video, which premiered on NYLON, features internet star Quenlin Blackwell and was directed by INDIANA420BITCH. Known for a sharp aesthetic seen in collaborations with Playboi Carti and Kim Kardashian, the director crafts a vivid, high-energy visual where JT shines.

JT’s lyrics cut through with clarity: “Bitch I’m getting money, I ain’t run out / my bitches shaking ass with their hands out.” The single arrives on the heels of her Hot 100 track “OKAY” and a year packed with highlights—from her I-D magazine cover story to her performances at the Love Ball and DSquared2’s runway finale in Italy.

Essence called City Cinderella “a blend of classic Miami and modern forces,” and Billboard recognized it as a turning point in JT’s trajectory. The mixtape debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart and continues to fuel her artistic evolution.

As JT said in her I-D feature: “I’m always going to be an It girl. I’ve been one before I was a rapper—all five mugshots.” With “Ran Out,” she cements that identity yet again—bold, brilliant, and unmistakably JT.
