Laidback Luke drops “It Clicked,” a Dutch house-inspired club anthem that brings back his signature rebellious energy. Out now on Dim Mak.

Laidback Luke is back in full force with “It Clicked,” his first release on Dim Mak and a powerful return to the raw, underground sound that made him an electronic music icon. The track marks the beginning of a new era—one that embraces loud, funky, and high-energy beats inspired by his early career.

Looking back on the last decade, Luke realized he had been adapting his music to fit the streaming market. “I want to return to being me—unapologetically me,” he shares. “That big, crazy energy from my early days in Dutch house and Bloghouse is what I’ve been missing.” Taking cues from Crookers, Switch, and The Bloody Beetroots, “It Clicked” delivers an electrifying mix of pulsing bass and relentless energy.

This release also marks Luke’s signing to Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak label—a move that feels like a homecoming. “When I told Steve, he said, ‘That’s an honor. Welcome to the family.’ It felt like stepping into my big brother’s house.”

With a history of mentoring dance music’s biggest stars—including Avicii, Afrojack, and Oliver Heldens—Laidback Luke has left an undeniable mark on the industry. Now, he’s proving that his own story is far from over.
