With the arrival of “Been A Minute,” singer and songwriter Leigh-Anne marks her official return to music. Released via Virgin Music Group, the single celebrates rhythm, culture, and creative transformation.
Co-produced by Elijah “GYW Eli” Ross and Lasse Qvist, and sampling Masters at Work’s “Work,” the track balances modern production with a familiar, nostalgic touch. Leigh-Anne co-writes and delivers a smooth vocal that captures both confidence and homage.
The video, directed by Femi Lade, features Leigh-Anne leading a vibrant carnival sequence before being overtaken by a mysterious figure—highlighting shifts in power, identity, and self-expression.
