Mae Martin, the award-winning comedian, actor, and writer, has announced their debut album, I’m A TV, set for release on February 27, 2025 via Universal Music Canada (UMC) and Republic Records. Preceding the album’s release, fans can stream two tracks now: “Good Dream” and “Stowaway.”

I’m A TV marks a bold new chapter in Mae’s career, blending nostalgic indie rock melodies with heartfelt storytelling. Produced by Jason Couse and Wes Marskell of The Darcys, the album delves into themes of self-expression and personal growth, reflecting on Mae’s teenage years and the journey to reconnect with music.

“I never thought I’d share the songs I wrote as a teenager,” Mae reveals. “But moving to LA gave me the space to reconnect with that part of myself and write music without needing to find a punchline. This album feels like an authentic extension of everything I’ve been trying to express creatively.”

Jeffrey Remedios, Chairman & CEO of UMC, describes Mae as “a multi-disciplinary artist who connects deeply with fans through humor and honesty.” He adds that I’m A TV is an inspiring addition to Mae’s already impressive body of work.
