Moby, BLOND:ISH, and Kiko Franco team up for a powerful reimagining of “Natural Blues” via Defected.
Dance music icons Moby, BLOND:ISH, and Kiko Franco unite for “Natural Blues,” released today by Defected Records. A remix-turned-collaboration, the track brings the talents of three artists into one soulful and dance-driven release.
Moby’s invitation set it all in motion. BLOND:ISH recalls: “He’s like, ‘Pick any song.’… We laid down two ideas… before we knew it, the remix turned into a collab.”
Kiko Franco, joining from Brazil, says: “It perfectly showcases how all of our strong points came together.”
The result is a genre-spanning anthem, blending piano house, Afro beats, and electronic textures. “I’m happy to be able to add elements of my identity,” says Franco. His sound rounds out Moby’s legacy samples and BLOND:ISH’s forward-thinking production.
