Rising alt-artist Novulent shares his cinematic new EP BEFORE EVOLUTION and finishes his sold-out headline tour.

Novulent, a 20-year-old breakout artist, delivers his new EP, BEFORE EVOLUTION, available now via Capitol Records. This three-song collection highlights his signature mix of raw storytelling and genre-blending production.

The EP features the standout track “death wish,” which explores the intensity of a toxic relationship. Featuring New Zealand artist whatsaheart, the song pairs Novulent’s cinematic lyrics with haunting vocals. “The premise behind ‘death wish’ is a toxic relationship but very exaggerated, in order to be cinematic,” Novulent explains. “Your emotions are heightened, and it feels like a death wish.”

The EP represents a bridge between Novulent’s breakout success and his next chapter, offering fans a taste of his continued growth. “This EP is a proper expression of emotional vulnerability and how I’ve improved as an artist,” he shares.

Alongside the release, Novulent wraps up his headline Evolution Tour, which included sold-out shows in Chicago and Los Angeles. The tour concludes with stops in Houston, Dallas, and a final performance at Mercury Lounge in New York City on February 1.
