Ray Vaughn continues his streak with ‘CEMETERY lanterns’ ahead of debut EP

Ray Vaughn shares ‘CEMETERY lanterns,’ a deeply personal new track leading up to his debut EP, ‘The Good, The Bad & The Dollar Menu.’
With “CEMETERY lanterns,” Ray Vaughn continues his run of standout releases, delivering a track that blends his signature storytelling with a hypnotic, percussive beat. Out now via Top Dawg Entertainment, the song was produced by Rayo and Kyu Steed and serves as a preview of his upcoming debut EP, The Good, The Bad & The Dollar Menu, now available for pre-save.
Speaking on the song’s inspiration, Vaughn shares:
“‘CEMETERY lanterns’ is a story for those caught between loyalty and survival. It’s about the struggle of growing up in the hood, torn between following the footsteps of those you look up to or breaking the cycle.”
Vaughn’s momentum has only grown stronger in recent years, from performing at Ken & Friends and Free Lunch in LA to having “Blasphemy” land a major placement in SZA’s #1 film, One of Them Days. His rap battle with Joey Bada$$ further reinforced his presence in the scene.
His collaborations with Isaiah Rashad, Pusha T, and NLE Choppa highlight his adaptability, while recent tracks like “Ray Wop” and “FNBM” emphasize his unique ability to balance introspective lyricism with energetic production.
With The Good, The Bad & The Dollar Menu promising a dynamic blend of hard-hitting rap and personal storytelling, Vaughn is proving himself as a force to watch in 2025.
