Robin Cisek delivers another powerful glimpse into her upcoming full-length album with “Escape,” a new single celebrating community and gratitude, available now.
Co-produced with Brandon Unis and Brad Simons, “Escape” was written as a thank-you to the people who help Cisek stay grounded. “Sometimes I get really overwhelmed and I’m so thankful for the people that help me get a break and bring me back down to earth,” she explains.
“Escape” follows “Play Dirty,” the first single from her new era that highlights women’s growing role in the music industry and showcases Cisek’s production talents. “I’m so proud that this project allowed me to work with an incredible group of women,” she says.
The track arrives with a visualizer directed by Cisek, featuring stunning imagery from Edmonton’s vibrant arts scene and local artist MAST. “Edmonton is such an artistic city,” says Cisek.
Fans can catch Robin Cisek live this summer in Edmonton and Toronto after her standout performance at No Girl Left Behind.
