Métis artist Robin Cisek fully controls the narrative on her second album “Tempered”, now available everywhere.
Robin Cisek returns with her new project Tempered, a seven-track album that marks a milestone in her career. From start to finish, every word and sound was crafted by Cisek herself, showcasing her evolution as both artist and producer.
“I wanted to make a statement about how women are told how to feel,” she explains. “Tempered glass is beautiful, but strong under pressure.”
With emotional peaks in songs like “Leave Me in the Cold” and rhythmic strength in “Play Dirty,” the album walks the line between softness and resistance. It’s a leap from her earlier work Delicate Minds, showing new confidence and edge.
Cisek will premiere the album live in Edmonton at the Chromozone Showcase Room on May 30th. Lyric videos for “Reactive” and “Rumor” are underway, with more to come.
