Rosie Darling Debuts “Roomful Of People” EP Led by Introspective Single “It Is What It Is”

Rosie Darling’s “Roomful Of People” features emotional storytelling with a fresh, playful sound.
LA indie-pop artist Rosie Darling has unveiled her new EP Roomful Of People via Nettwerk, ushering in a bright and reflective new phase in her music.
Produced by Justin Gammella (FINNEAS, Ashe), the EP’s lead single “It Is What It Is” blends acoustic textures with Rosie’s honest storytelling. “I say, ‘It is what it is,’ because I know what it isn’t,” she sings, confronting the end of a relationship. Rosie shares, “If they aren’t showing up for you, it’s easier to make excuses… but some things are clear if you allow yourself to see them.”
Describing this project as a more playful reset after her emotional debut album Lanterns, Rosie offers tracks like the heartfelt “Roomful Of People,” the empowering “Smoke & Mirrors,” the nostalgic “Joanna,” and the liberating “This Is Me Letting Go.”
Roomful Of People invites listeners to reflect, sing along, and find strength in emotional honesty, further cementing Rosie Darling’s status as a rising indie-pop force.
