SOFI TUKKER reintroduce a beloved classic with Sleepyhead 2025, a rework of Passion Pit’s legendary track that blends nostalgia with contemporary dance production. Released via Animal Talk Records, this version brings SOFI TUKKER’s signature high-energy style to a song that helped define a generation.
For Tucker Halpern, Sleepyhead was more than just a song—it was a formative soundtrack. “The original was one of my favorite songs in high school. When I met Michael Angelakos, we connected over how much the music industry has changed since Manners, and we decided to bring the track back while staying true to its roots.”
John Summit was one of the first DJs to embrace Sleepyhead 2025, dropping it at his Tahoe Experts Only set. Meanwhile, this release also marks the return of SOFI TUKKER’s label, Animal Talk Records. “We started Animal Talk in 2018, and we’re bringing it back in a big way,” says Tucker. “This is just the beginning of what’s to come in 2025.”
With a new residency at Wynn Nightlife and major festival appearances at World Pride, BottleRock Napa Valley, and Breakaway Festival, SOFI TUKKER are making 2025 their biggest year yet.
