Viola Odette Harlow continues to push creative boundaries with “P*rn Star”, her newest album out now via Play Girl Records. A hypnotic fusion of electro-pop, synth-pop, and indie influences, the album explores themes of resilience, self-determination, and the power of embracing one’s own story.

Alongside the album release, Viola unveils the music video for “Imaginary Friend”, a song that reflects on missed opportunities and self-acceptance. “‘”Imaginary Friend” is about the alternate versions of myself I used to dream of becoming. But I’ve learned that trying to erase the past also erases who I’ve become,’” she shares.

The album as a whole tells a compelling story of struggle and triumph. “‘”P*rn Star” is a fairy tale, a tragedy, and a love story wrapped into one,’” Viola explains. “‘It’s about choosing kindness when misunderstood, about finding strength when no one is in your corner, and about realizing you are enough, no matter what.’”

Viola’s artistic exploration extends beyond music, with her debut book, “No One Famous Has It Yet”, set for release on March 31.
